March 2004

HI EVERYONE!

I'M GROWING! At my four month checkup (February 2004), I weighed in at a whopping 15.5 pounds and measured 24 inches. If you remember, on October 2nd I started at 6.8 pounds and 19 inches.

In February I learned I have a left and a right side. I learned to sit up. I slept through the night a few times and learned sleeping through the night isn't as much fun as waking Mommy up. I learned I have a voice and it can be LOUD. Also, I noticed I have feet and toes, not sure what they're for though. I started eating something called solid food, rice cereal to be precise. I'm not sure if I like it, I'll let you know next month.

I was on the go a lot this month. I saw:
  • uncle Mickey, uncle Carlos and uncle Eric (a.k.a. Trims).
  • aunt Gila, uncle Paul, Keva, Ariel, Greg, Seth, Sasha, William, and Andrew.
  • aunt Gabrielle
  • Bubbie, aunt Karen, uncle Dean, aunt Cathy, uncle Mike and aunt Kerry.
  • aunt Linda, aunt Lisa, infant Murphy and two babies around my age, Riley and Meghan.
  • aunt Catherine and her brother John visiting from Virginia.
  • uncle Dana, Anne-Christine, Jackie, Andy, Scott and Lori.
  • aunt Evy and aunt Glea.
  • and of course a lot of Mom & Dad.
I got to go geocaching again. This time I had the chance to introduce the 'sport' to uncle Dean and aunt Cathy. The first cache of the day was a Sweet Pete's special, Chelsea cookies. Yummy so I'm told, no teeth means no cookies.

I got to hold something called a Margarita while Mommy celebrated her birthday. Since I can't count, I can't tell you which one (birthday or Margarita).

I had my photo taken with Mom and Dad. Thank you aunt Gila.

Mommy, Daddy and I ended the month celebrating uncle Dana's birthday in Sonoma. Mommy and Daddy didn't let me taste their wine.

I saw a lot of my aunts and uncles this month, it was great. If I missed you, I'm available, stop by.

Well I'm off to sit up, suck my toes and make a lot of noise.

Till next month,

A slightly tired Julia
