![]() Hi everyone, Julia here. Can you believe yet another month has passed? It seems just like yesterday when Mommy & Daddy first had an idea and I was on my way. Now, where to start? Hmm, I guess the beginning is best. Soon after the New Year started my Aunt Millie and Cousin Austen returned home to Georgia, boohoo my daily quota of hugs and kisses just wasn’t the same. Sometime in January, I’m not sure when since I can’t tell time yet, I met my Cousin Marta, my Cousin Jennifer and my Cousin Jorge, all for the first time. We met at my aunt Glea’s house in Belvedere. Now this was a treat. It was my first time meeting my Cousins and my aunt and my first time to Belvedere. Let’s just say, I was the hit of the party. Later in January Mommy and Daddy did something called a date. Now, I‘m not sure what a date is but I do know two things about them, 1. Mommy and Daddy should be playing with me and shouldn’t have any time for dates until I’m in high school (whatever that is). 2. Again I’m not sure what a date is, but I’m not supposed to be on one until I’m 21. One really good thing about their date, I got to spend more time with my aunt Anne-Christine (whew, what a mouthful) and my uncle Dana who babysat. At the end of the month my Aunt Evelyn, not to be confused with my Aunt Evy (the cornbeef/brisket lady) came to visit me all the way from Amherst, Massachusetts. She weathered storms to be with me. While Evelyn was here we took my first trip to Petaluma and visited with my Bubbie. Oh how nice it was to see her again. Well I’m off to nap, I need to rest up for the year ahead of me. Till next month, Julia Barufkin |
