: julia's letter (apr 04)

April 2004

Last month, we were BUSY. March was go, go, go, go, go.
We started the month with my first night away from home. We stayed at Bubbie’s. I had fun.

The next day we went wine tasting in Sonoma. It was beautiful there. I loved staring at the blue sky, the flowers, and the wine. I didn’t know wine came in such pretty colors.

The next weekend I got to go to Mel’s Diner. Did you know Mel’s Diner was the drive-in in American Graffiti? What’s a drive-in? We joined up with Connie and Aidan at Mel’s. Connie, Aidan, Mommy and me were the prettiest girls in the place.

We followed this with Mommy getting back on her motorcycle for a ride through the Presidio and onto the streets of San Francisco. My Mom is so cool she rides a motorcycle.

Tom and Teri stopped by. I enjoyed entertaining them until they left for their anniversary dinner without me.

Sandi stopped by and spent so much time holding me, I thought she wasn’t going to give me back to Mom and Dad.

Rose stopped by and oh did she and Dad chat up a storm. Rose brought homemade Bailey’s Irish Cream, Mommy and Daddy let me look at it.

Kirsten, Stuart, Michael and his girlfriend Karen stopped by to have dinner and cheesecake with Mommy and Daddy. After dinner I was passed around like a cheese tray and I loved it.

Gotta go, it’s my bedtime.

Hugs, kisses and a wiggle of my toes,

-Julia
